Brewed in collaboration with RENK America, 12 Cylinder American Lager celebrates 117 years of production of the 12 cylinder engine in Muskegon, MI. This classic American lager is crisp, clean, refreshing, and a proud nod to the history of manufacturing in our hometown.

Beer lovers from around the world come together to end ALS through Ales for ALS, a fundraising program where breweries craft beer from a specialty hop blend. To achieve Almond Joy, we take our Let Me Fetch an Oatmeal Stout (L.M.F.A.O. Stout) and add toasted coconut and cocoa nibs. The use of nitro makes this beer exceptionally smooth and creamy. With a dark brown to black color, a perfect visual balance is achieved with this beer’s tan and creamy head.

The barrel aging process started with Jack Daniels barrels that aged PH’s whiskey for the last 6 years. Once emptied, we put McSwick strong scotch ale in the wet barrels and let it age for 3 months. The deeply malty and earthy aromas give way to a smooth but heavier bodied mouthfeel.

We brewed our 1,000 batch of beer here at Pigeon Hill Brewing Company. To commemorate, we brewed something special which is perfect for the holidays- a barley wine!
Inspired by traditional American Barleywine recipes, it is light amber in color with flavors of malt, dried fruit, dark caramel and toffee. The mouthfeel definitely has an alcohol warmth and some hop bitterness on the back end.

We took our dearly beloved Renny and made it a tropical haze bomb! Instead, it has a very light acidity that is reminiscent of biting into an apple.

Lager Dave is named after our friend Logger Dave, the lumberjack who milled all of our tables and gave us our bar top. O.C.P. came to life in our homebrew days when Ali Kamp challenged Joel to make a beer that tasted just like her oatmeal and cream cookies. In his mad scientist’s lair (aka the garage), Joel blended oats, marshmallow stuff, and other top secret ingredients to create the mystifyingly delicious beer known as O.C.P. Named after our expansion project, Western Expansion is our no-gimmicks approach to an American Stout. Notes of chocolate, roast, caramel, and a slight hoppiness combine for comforting aroma. Rounded out by the full-bodied mouthfeel, this stout is perfect for enjoying on cold winter day.

Whirlwind Wheat is named after the mini wind tunnel that ripped across our patio on a super busy holiday weekend. It sent all of our patio tables and umbrellas flying down the street and left our team and customers in complete shock. Luckily, the only casualties were beer & glassware but we’re still scarred from the event.
Whirlwind Wheat is brewed with a wheat based grain bill, a touch of honey malt and gets its hop profile from late kettle additions of Mosaic, Michigan Copper & Denali Hops. Adding to the uniqueness it is fermented with our Kolsch yeast strain which offers a dry finish while still letting the malt come through for a nice balance. Aroma is a mix of citrus and tropical fruit with notes of pine.

Wild Rye’d IPA is part of our Team Innovation Program (TIP). The TIP program gives our front of the house staff the learning opportunity to help create a recipe and brew with our talented brewers. Kaylee & Mikayla, aka the Mikaylees, had their heart set on creating a Rye IPA. Light caramel to brown in appearance with a beautiful a tan head, this RyePA has a slight resiny kick from the use of Michigan Copper hops. A few of these makes you want to get wild and crazy!

A blend of red varieties grown on Old Mission Peninsula in Northern Michigan. Fruit forward and spicy aromas are followed by flavors of raspberry, blackberry and vanilla. Dry, medium-bodied with soft tannins and a mild oak finish.
Oak Treatment: 12 months in mostly neutral French oak; some new and two year old American and Hungarian oak.

This Late Harvest Riesling represents so much that is great about northern Michigan, it is vibrantly alive, fresh, and highlighted with a balanced sweetness. It is surely one that will be a classic in your cellar. It has aromas of fresh fruit followed by concentrated flavors of apples, apricots and peaches complemented by honey undertones. This sweeter Riesling is the result of numerous vineyards providing high quality fruit from the 2018 vintage. It is lush with fresh fruit and balanced with bright acidity. Expect this wine to be delicious now and age well into the next decade.
