MCC On Tap: Where Everybody Knows Your Name: A Story of Place, Connection, and Transformation at MCC

Sometimes, something as simple as knowing someone’s name can make a place feel like home. 💛

Join us at the Brewer’s Lounge at Pigeon Hill for our next FREE Community Lecture, hosted in partnership with Muskegon Community College!

🎤 Where Everybody Knows Your Name: A Story of Place, Connection, and Transformation at MCC
Presented by Eric Carballido, Geography Faculty

Eric’s journey as an MCC student took six years, multiple setbacks, a wedding, a baby, and support from countless faculty members. Today, he teaches at the same college that once felt intimidating-and eventually became home.

As a geographer, Eric knows places are more than points on a map. Hear his story and explore how personal connections can transform the places where we live, learn, and work.

📅 Tuesday, October 20
Doors open at 5:30 PM
🎤 Presentation begins at 6 PM
🎟️ FREE to attend!
