Join us for book club at the Brewer’s Lounge, in partnership with The Muskegon Area District Library and Hackley Library. Our monthly book club meets every second Tuesday of the month at 6 PM, offering a fun and relaxed atmosphere for book enthusiasts to gather and share their thoughts.
For the month of September, we’ll be delving into “Tom Lake” by Ann Patchett. This captivating novel follows a woman named Lara as she recounts her past experiences as a young actress to her three daughters during the pandemic. Through Lara’s storytelling, Patchett explores themes of love, regret, and the intricate bonds of family, all set against the backdrop of a Michigan cherry orchard.
