About the Race
The Muskegon Turkey Trot 5K has been a community tradition for over a decade. This family-friendly fun run & walk is the perfect way to jumpstart Thanksgiving morning. Get festive, wear a costume and earn that extra slice of pie!
Registration
Registration will be available on October 14, 2024. Registration is 100% online. Even on race morning! Make the line move quickly and register in advance!
We request a $10 donation per participant along with a food item for Kid’s Food Basket wish list to participate in the Turkey Trot. The race is not chip-timed but there will be a clock at the finish line. The race will take place no matter what the weather is! Rain, Snow or Shine- we will be out there! We’re sorry but dogs are not allowed at the Turkey Trot (insurance purposes).
Repeat!
No dogs except bonafide service dogs.
Bib Pick-Up
Race Day morning starting at 8am – 8:50 am at Pigeon Hill Brewing Company.
Parking
Parking is available at The Mart Dock, Downtown Muskegon, and the City of Muskegon Parking Lot east/ across the street from Pigeon Hill. Pigeon Hill’s parking lot will be closed for the event.
Course
The start/finish is at Pigeon Hill Brewing Company and runs out and back on the Lakeshore Bike Trai.
Water Station
There will be a water station at the 1.5 mile turnaround.
Bathrooms
There will be bathrooms available inside of Pigeon Hill. None on the 5k course.
