John Voelz is a California native who also spent a significant portion of his life in the midwest and as a traveling musician. This well-rounded singer-songwriter now performs locally and regionally with a solid performance of acoustic, Americana, Country, Folk, Rock, and Pop songs.

A typical cover setlist includes well-performed renditions of songs from bands such as Chris Stapleton, Eagles, Tom Petty, The Beatles, ELO, Eric Clapton, Neil Young, CSN, The Doobie Brothers, CCR, Van Morrison, The Rolling Stones, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Fleetwood Mac, George Harrison, Johnny Cash, The Traveling Wilburys, Marshall Tucker Band, Poco, Pink Floyd, Hall & Oates, Bob Dylan, David Bowie, The Who, and James Taylor.
John also seasons his cover sets with fun acoustic renditions of songs by pop artists like Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, and Maroon 5 as well as surprise renditions of songs by the likes of Blondie, Duran Duran, Whitney Houston, U2, and Prince. John’s sets always include songs that surprise the crowd.
